36 infrastructural projects of GEL 51 million cost to be implemented for Lanchkhuti in 2019

Vice Premier, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Maya Tskitishvili along with Lanchkhuti Majoritarian MP Nino Tsilosani, Governor Zurab Nasaraia and other representatives of local authorities visited projects sites and familiarized local residents with the infrastructural projects scheduled to be implemented in the region for 2019. “We study the requirements that all regions are facing today and hold the meetings actively not only with the local authorities but also with the population.  We visit the project sites too and learn requirements of population” – Vice Premier stated.
Maya Tskitishvili visited the site of construction works at Lanchkhuti Football Academy for Children, financed by the Regional Development Fund. Upon finalization the Academy will serve 50-60 children. In the yard of the Academy the football pitch is scheduled to be constructed that is to be carried out with the support of Georgian Football Federation. Minister talked with the population, listened to their requirements, responded to their questions and acquainted them with the infrastructural projects that are scheduled to be executed in 2019 in Lanckhuti Municipality. According to Ms. Tskitishvili there will be implemented 2 water supply projects (arrangement-rehabilitation of water network in Lesi and Jurukveti Administrative Units and works of the third stage for water network expansion in Lanckhuti Town) in the Municipality; The Schools will be built in Chochkhati and Lesa Villages; Existing schools will be rehabilitated; There will be constructed the kindergartens in three villages (Tabanata, Khajalia, Atsana) of the Municipality that will serve 400 children in total. As for regulation of the road infrastructure, there will be executed 9 projects at the cost of GEL 45 million in the Municipality, including arrangement of bridge crossing, bank protection works, restoration of the access road to Ninoshvili House Museum, arrangement of roads and pedestrian paths and street lighting. There will be arranged the out-patient clinics in 15 villages (Atsana, Nigvziani, Aketi, Chibati, Ghmaghele, Supsa, Jurukveti, Kviani, Nigoiti, Shukhuti, Gvimbalauri, Chochkhati, Lanchkhuti, Ninoshvili, Lesa). 
Together with the Governor and Majoritarian MP, Minister visited Egnate Ninoshvili House Museum and inspected the accomplished works for Jikheti Convent access road. The cost of the road project amounted to GEL 991 873. The works were commenced in August and completed on November 20th. 
MRDI will proceed with meeting with the local authorities and population of the Municipality aimed at presenting the planned projects and identifying their requirements.
